Actions for a Better Toronto
MISSION: Operated by the Town of York Historical Society, Toronto's First Post Office benefits the postal museum on this National Historic Site. The mandate of the Society is to research, interpret and promote the history of the Town of York and early Toronto, and to preserve the Town of York's surviving built environment.
SERVICES: A full-service Canada Post dealership is open seven days a week in order to keep the doors open and to support a museum with educational programs and a research library and archives. A gift shop also sells seals and sealing wax, postcards and note cards, and history books.
